This is hilarious. A software bug made every 30GB-model Zune crash last night at 2 AM, and they won’t reboot properly.
edit: I’m still laughing about this a half-hour later. The various comments everywhere are hilarious.

2008 was awesome. 2008 sucked. Bring on 2009.
(via acewepeel)
I was at first shocked as to why everyone was doggin on 08 and then the year flashed back to me, 2008 was sort of shitty. Then again it did have a lot of neat things that happened and took the edge off so after some assesment 08 was a rollercoaster ride (like wallstreet) of fantasitic ups and dismal downs.
On average 2008 was pretty meh. or maybe an O rly.

Pork and Sauerkraut, Black Eyed Peas, Or...?
notthatkindagay:
What’s your traditional New Years Day meal? I grew up with the German Pork and Sauerkraut. Apparently it’s good luck to have sauerkraut on the first day of the year. It’s also apparently the only time you’ll see me eating sauerkraut.
Black-eyed peas for good luck, greens or spinach for financial stability, some sort of pork for the hell of it.

The Colorado River, the life vein of the Southwestern United States, is in trouble.
The river’s water is hoarded the moment it trickles out of the mountains of Wyoming and Colorado and begins its 1,450-mile journey to Mexico’s border. It runs south through seven states and the Grand Canyon, delivering water to Phoenix, Los Angeles and San Diego. Along the way, it powers homes...

“[P]lucky little Levantine racists” is the most disgusting phrase I’ve heard this holiday season, and I’ve been visiting with relatives who make the Emanuels look like WASPs. Merry Chanukah, fuckfaces who cloak anti-semitism in liberal clothing!

Let’s talk about the last 21 hours of my life, shall we? Actually, let’s read the timeline. This begins last night at 6pm, when I attempted to fly home for the holidays. I was scheduled on a non-stop JFK-IAH (Houston-Intercontinental). I’ve recorded my experiences for the record, my amusement, my impending letter to the CEO of Delta, and so that others may be...

I still don’t trust economists, but hey, what the hell, let’s go into 2009 on an optimistic note, this time provided by the United Federation of Planets International Monetary Fund:
(The IMF’s) top economist generally endorsed the incoming Obama administration’s approach to economic stimulus, while urging countries to consider offering a kind of “recession insurance.”

Blargh Texas history, this was a class in seventh grade and taught in elementary too, from the native americans to now and all the geography you could stand.
I think I have started to notice that some “good” pictures are just heavily saturated. I knew something was up.

I just don’t get it, can someone tell me why I should care?
Quick thought
The happenings in Gaza right now are atrocious, and we as Americans must change our policy concerning the region, all of us.
I recently came to the understanding that a slight generalization is made concerning the Israel/Palestinian question and the ideologies of American conservatism and liberalism; Liberals tend to support the Palestinian effort and conservatives tend to side with the Israeli...
